Hi! My name is Eugene, and my students call me Teacher Chippy. I’ve been teaching for almost 12 years now, and I’m known for my ability to explain complex concepts in a way that even children can understand.
Many years ago, a student asked me a question that I could not answer.
“Teacher Chippy, how exactly do you write so well?” the student asked me. It was a genuine question.
“Hmmm… Well, I…” I did not have a good answer. How exactly do I write so well? Is it just the vocabulary? Surely spelling or grammar isn’t the key. There are many pieces of writing that are grammatically accurate, yet are still dry and boring to read. This led me down the rabbit hole of linguistics and literature.
They always said that when it comes to writing, one should simply go with the flow. Surely with a burst of inspiration, words would naturally flourish, wouldn’t they? Well, when it comes to the layman and the budding primary school writers, this is evidently not the case.
After many years of research and refining and testing and more refining, I developed 7 essential techniques that any child can apply immediately, that will instantly boost marks by at least one grade. These techniques do not even require memorising of vocabulary! Simply follow the framework and you’re bound to do pretty well.
This even works for experienced writers. Understanding how the frameworks work allows more veteran artists the artistic liberty to break the rules in a creative manner.
